She's At The Hudson • Raleigh, North Carolina •

This Fall, Artsuite is pleased to present an all women's exhibition at the historic Hudson building in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Located at 319 Fayetteville Street, the 4,200 sq. ft gallery provides a perfect venue for these remarkable works.

She's at the Hudson features works by Liz Nielsen, Leigh Suggs, Beverly McIver, Yuko Nogami Taylor, Sarah Emerson, Joy Drury Cox, Barbara Campbell Thomas, Susan Harbage Page and BA Thomas, and encompasses a variety of media including painting, photography, mixed media, drawing and textile. From Japanese Nihonga painting techniques to gouache on antique book pages, the works in the exhibition are diverse and engaging.

Arts advocacy is a priority for Artsuite. Supporting women artists is critically important. Although women artists have been making art throughout history, their work, when compared to that of their male counterparts, has been overlooked, undervalued and obfuscated. We want to inspire art enthusiasts, collectors, as well as museums to invest in women artists.
